Hello All,

New to the forum.

I am looking for the correct gap for my 2001 Suzuki Esteem.

I have had the car for around 10k miles. 190k now on the odometer. The plugs were last changed out at 136k miles. While changing out the serpentine belt theis weekend, I looked at the plugs.

Thanks.

If you purchase them at your Suzuki dealer they will be gapped correctly for your car, check with the parts dept. to be certain.

Recently I purchased plugs for a friends '98 Esteem and that was the case and they were $3.50/plug compared to $5.00/plug at a large discount chain, both NGK, different packaging. The large chain had them in packages of two, they where they were not gapped, and they are the small platinum tip which I did not look forward to gapping.

So for a surprise check with your dealer and be pleasantly surprised like we were.
Hope this helps other looking at the thread.
Parts manager said to torque them between 7-10 lbs.
